Why We Built Zommo

Every service business deserves a booking flow that actually fits how they work. Here's why we built Zommo.

Zommo Team

Walk into any barbershop, yoga studio, or personal training gym and you'll find the same scene: a phone full of WhatsApp booking requests, a mental calendar that only one person fully understands, and a booking tool — if there is one — that was clearly designed for a different kind of business.

The booking tool market is not short of options. There are consumer-grade tools that give you a static page and a calendar grid. There are enterprise platforms with onboarding specialists and monthly contracts. And there's everything in between — each built with a specific business type in mind, each forcing you to fit your workflow into their model.

That's the problem we set out to fix.

A booking page is not a booking flow

A page is a destination. A flow is a process. These are fundamentally different things.

A page says: "Here are my services. Pick one. Fill in your details. Done."

A flow says: "What kind of client are you? What are you here for? Who do you want to work with? When works for you?" It adapts based on your answers, asks the right questions at the right time, and delivers a booking that has everything the business needs to actually deliver the service.

Most booking tools build pages. Zommo builds flows.

Any business, any setup

We support over 60 industry types — from barbers to auto mechanics, private tutors to coworking spaces, tattoo studios to medical clinics. Each one has different terminology, different booking steps, different questions to ask, and different ways to organise staff and services.

The platform adapts to your setup. You pick your industry and Zommo configures the right flow automatically — the right steps, the right vocabulary, the right sections for your storefront. If you need to customise further, you can. If you don't, you don't have to.

Built for the people who run things

The primary Zommo user isn't a software team. It's the barber who runs their business solo. The studio owner managing five staff and a hundred clients a month. The tutor building an intake process for new students.

These are smart, capable people who do not have time to learn complex software. They need to set it up once and have it work. Zommo is built for that: ten minutes from sign-up to a live booking link.

We're building this in public

Zommo is in public beta. We have paying businesses using it today. We're building features based on real feedback from real operators.

If you run a service business and you're tired of tools that don't fit, try Zommo. Build your flow. Tell us what's missing.

Your feedback shapes what we build next.
